GCIC’s helping hand to the physically handicapped

On the occasion of World Handicapped Day, the entrepreneurs of GCIC were invited to do voluntary work by the Primary Healthcare Centre at Gudupalli mandal. The entrepreneurs of GCIC mobilized 50 handicapped persons by informing them about the new programmes/schemes benefiting the physically handicapped. Authorized certification would be provided by the Primary Healthcare Centre (PHC) to the handicapped persons to avail government facilities. The entrepreneurs helped the physically handicapped by photocopying the documents that are necessary for availing the certification since the PHC was 2 kilometers away from the town area. The certificates are helpful for the handicapped people in obtaining government subsidies concessions for travel in public transport undertakings, getting house sites and reservations in government jobs.
